Women's Ministry 

The Women's Ministry at Kingsland assists the church in evangelizing, maturing, and equipping all women for service to the glory of God.

Join us for a Fall Bible Study

The Women's Ministry Bible Studies at Kingsland are called Transformed By God's Word because our heart's desire is to grow in our intimacy with God in such a way that our lives reflect the changes His Word and His Holy Spirit bring about in our lives when we are obedient. (James 1:19-25). This Fall we are offering several choices of times and a variety of opportunities for women to fellowship and grow through studying God's Word.

  • Becoming a Women of Simplicity  by Cynthia Heald -led by Janet Pankratz (Home study)
  • The Life Changing Power of the Blood of Jesus- led by Phyllis Ashe and Julia Kingwell

Thursday Mornings 9:15-11:15 AM | Starting September 9th

Please join us at 9:00 a.m.  on September 9th in the Legacy Building Loft area as we start off the fall semester with bagels & coffee,worship and fellowship.

  • After the Boxes are Unpacked - A class for Newcomers to Katy- led by Susan Derbecker
  • Amazing Collection Part I: Genesis - II Kings - led by Lacy Nuckols &  Holly Stone
    New this Fall for Preschoolers, Jenee Pulliam will be teaching The Amazing Adventure to children ages 3-5.  This study will allow them to experience their own Route 66.  For the Fall semester the children  will be learning  from Genesis - II Kings at the same pace as those  who are participating in The Amazing Collection Part I.  Connect with your child eternally as you study the scriptures together.
  • Amazing Collection Part II: I Chronicles - Esther-led by Pam Whitcomb
  • Bringing Up Boys - by Dr. James Dobson- led by Marisa Cockrell & Hope Hennessey
  • First Place 4 Health- a biblically based weight loss class - led by Lori Brans & Kim Treas
  • Joshua Precepts - led by Katherine Spena
  • Revelation by Beth Moore - led by Kara Potts, Kelly Isenberger and Sheryl Adams

Beginning Thursday, September 30th at 9:15AM:

Childcare is available for all on campus studies but  space is LIMITED.   To register your child  please contact  Jenee Pulliam at 281-492-0785 or jpulliam@kingsland.org.  The cost for childcare is $40/family.

MONTHLY EVENTS

Reading Club: Whether reading for knowledge or for pleasure, books grounded in Christianity help meet spiritual needs. Join other Kingsland women as they discuss books that will encourage and inspire you to walk in truth. The book club meets the second Thursday of each month in the home of Phillis Mitchell. The King's Quilters: Knitters and crocheters meet the first and third Monday of each month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in room 140 in the Burns Building. The quilters are making baby quilts for the Pregnancy Help Center in Katy and the Comforter Center in Kampala, Uganda. The knitters and crocheters are also making booties for these infants. The fabric and supplies are provided by Women's Ministry. So bring your lunch and enjoy serving in this exciting mission project. Martha Binkowski 281.392.2432.
