Kingsland Student Ministry

Welcome to the Kingsland Student Ministry.

Students today are pulled in so many different directions. Families need and cherish a support system to help navigate these incredibly busy years. We place great importance in partnering with families to help guide students through the potentially rocky road of adolescence. As students enter the KSM, we strive to connect them to other students and caring adults that will be that strong support system. Through teaching, training, loving, guiding, and challenging students, we hope and pray that each student will reach their potential in Christ.

Kingsland Baptist Church has seen the importance of these critical years, and we are blessed to be able to place a specific emphasis on High School and Junior High Ministry. We invite you to read on and learn about some of the great programs that have been put in place to reach and support the students of Katy.

FUEL

Join us Wednesday night, June 25 for for FUEL @ The Park.  We will meet at the Nottingham Park (on Rennie across from KBC campus) at 6:45pm.  We will be cooking out so come hungry and bring your friends!

Time: 6:45PM to 8 PM
Who: all students in 6 to 12th grade
Where: Nottingham Park

LifeGroup

LifeGroups are the backbone of the KSM. Each week students will meet in homes all over Katy to study God's word and learn how to apply it to their lives. This discipleship ministry is designed to help students grow and mature in their relationship with the Lord through learning memory verses, doing quiet times, taking sermon notes and completing a weekly Bible study lesson. Strong adult leaders will guide these groups by challenging students to be a vital part of the Kingsland family.

LifeGroups meet on Sundays throughout the school year from 6-7:30 PM. Upon completing the year of LifeGroups, students are eligible to attend a summer mission trip.

Ministry Teams

If you are looking for a way to serve others through your talents and passions, then Ministry Teams are for you. Every Wednesday night from 6:15-7:00, students have the opportunity to work together to lead a specific area of the KSM. Our current Ministry Teams include:

Greeting Team - Hangout Area
