Single Adults

We love single adults!

Have you ever known any adult who happens to be single?  There are adults at Kingsland who are never-married, divorced, widowed, separated or parents who are single by choice or by circumstance.

On Sundays, you will see these adults in Bible Fellowships both on and off campus. The age specialty groups  are single parents, 20's, 30's and 40 . Some of the outings they enjoy are: weekend retreats, whitewater river rafting, Single Parent & Child Fun Days, rock climbing, Bible Study and Praise Nights, or just hanging out at someone’s house over coffee and dessert.

Our class consists of single parents, or soon to be single parents who want to parent and live a spiritually excellent life.  We believe in supporting each other and challenging our thinking with God's word so that we come up higher as believers in a unique life situation.  Our purpose is to overcome barriers single parents face, and to surmount those challenges in parenting and the single lifestyle through the guidance of God's love letter to us, the Bible.

We have a great class of singles.  The age range is specified as 40+ but we have a number of regular attendees who are not yet 40.  We can have anywhere from 30-40+ people on any given Sunday.  We do have a good mix of male and female members.  We have members who for various reasons come later than the start time and have to leave prior to the end of class - so a person is welcome to come in at any time during the class.  We are pretty laid back.  We almost always have food in the room - our members are great at signing up in advance to bring nourishment.  In November we are in the book of Matthew and the theme is Believer's Handbook 201.  Neely Ashe does most of the teaching, but Phyllis, his wife, does teach some when he is out of town and also contributes often in class.  We are very open in the class and members are comfortable asking just about any question as well as contributing with pertinent comments.  We are ALWAYS going and doing things together as a class.  We make sure these are either Christian venues or other family type events, with a number of activities already on the calendar for the year.

We are a Singles class, primarily from early or mid-20's to mid-30's.  We have singles with and without kids.  Our activities/mission projects are still being determined for the year, but we hope to have an updated calendar in the near future.  As for a study, We are going through Matthew for a couple of months.
