Junior High Ministry

Junior High Ministry is loud! No matter how many students are involved at any given event, there is a whole lotta love and fun and joy going on! Our purpose is to reach the students of Katy and connect them with other believers. We also want to help them discover their gifts as they grow and honor God with their lives.

The three years of junior high school are absolutely critical in the life of both believers and non-believers. We are passionate about teaming with parents to build a strong faith committment before high school. We also want to reach non-believing students before they step into the chaotic world of high school.

We have students from all area public middle schools, home schools and private schools. Our hope is that each student would be excited to participate in this ministry, and that they would develop relationships that last a lifetime.

Our weekly programs are Sunday morning Bible study at 9:30 AM, Lifegroups(Discipleship groups) on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM in area homes and FUEL on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM.

FUEL

Join us Wednesday night, June 25 for for FUEL @ The Park.  We will meet at the Nottingham Park (on Rennie across from KBC campus) at 6:45pm.  We will be cooking out so come hungry and bring your friends!

Time: 6:45PM to 8 PM
Who: all students in 6 to 12th grade

LifeGroup

LifeGroups are the backbone of the KSM. Each week students will meet in homes all over Katy to study God's word and learn how to apply it to their lives. This discipleship ministry is designed to help students grow and mature in their relationship with the Lord through learning memory verses, doing quiet times, taking sermon notes and completing a weekly Bible study lesson. Strong adult leaders will guide these groups by challenging students to be a vital part of the Kingsland family.

LifeGroups meet on Sundays throughout the school year from 6-7:30 PM. Upon completing the year of LifeGroups, students are eligible to attend a summer mission trip.

Ministry Teams

If you are looking for a way to serve others through your talents and passions, then Ministry Teams are for you. Every Wednesday night from 6:15-7:00, students have the opportunity to work together to lead a specific area of the KSM. Our current Ministry Teams include:
