Kingsland Ministries

One of our favorite sayings here is, "We must grow smaller as we grow larger." Our prayer for you is that through your "discovery process" you find a ministry that will provide the great relationships that we all need.

KSM Summer Mission Trips

KSM Mission Trips are for students who are enrolled in a LifeGroup.  They are a great way for LifeGroup students to live out what they have learned during the year of LifeGroups.   Each student must complete the LifeGroup yearly requirements to be eligible for the summer mission trip.  These requirements are given to the students at the beginning of the year and include being present regularly, memorizing scripture, completing Bible study lessons and taking sermon notes.

We are so thankful to our church family for generously participating in the Send Us Out offering! The Send Us Out offering has allowed us to discount each trip. The updated cost for each trip and the updated remainder after the deposit can be found below.

Trip Sponsors
If you are interested in being a sponsor on one of the mission trips, please contact the KSM at bhamilton@kingsland.org.

Responsibilities of a Trip Sponsor
1. Pray for the students and the mission that we are engaging with
2. Help guide students as we plan and prepare for the trip by attending planning meetings
3. Be responsible for a travel group as we get students from Point A to Point B
4. Help students make "good choices" along the way
5. Be a servant leader by meeting needs that you see on a trip

The role of a trip sponsor is to help the students prepare and lead a mission initiative. The sponsors are not there to do the work, but to help the students be successful in the tasks they are charged with. Being a trip sponsor is a high honor, and an absolute blast!
