Minister to Preschool
As Minister to Preschool, Barbara oversees education programs for Birth-Kindergarten. A native Texan with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from West Texas State University, she taught 1st. grade for 8 years, then worked as a homemaker and CEC teacher before joining the staff in 1996.
Barbara and her husband Bob have been members of Kingsland since 1985. They have two sons, Matt who lives in Harlingen with wife Sara, and their sons Zachariah & Kai and Mark who lives in Dallas.
Minister to Children
Vicki ministers to children in grades 1-5 and their families. She served in children's ministry for 12 years prior to joining the staff of Kingsland in July of 1998 as the Children's Minister. Vicki was raised in the hills of Pennsylvania and attended Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Scranton, Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelors Degree in Christian Education. After college, she taught in a Christian school in Maryland, married her husband, Steve and moved to Texas.
Vicki and Steve have three daughters. Rachel is married to Mike Davis and has two children. Christine Hoyle teaches in Katy. And Catherine is married to Jason Sauer and teaches in Cy-Fair, TX.
