Kid's Worship Arts Ministries

Our Worship Arts Ministry for kids exists to guide children to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and to become lifelong worshipers of God who can lead others to know and worship God through music, arts and media. We'll do this by equipping kids to offer whatever talents, gifts and skills they possess back to God as an act of worship.

Preschool WAM

Preschool WAM kicks off their spring musical on February 8th. The musical is called PJ Party for Jesus. Be sure to wear your pajamas and join us each week from 6- 7 PM!

The preschool musical, PJ Party for Jesus, is April 18, 2012.

1st – 5th Grade WAM

Saddle Up!! WAM kids are gettin’ a new musical/play ready! It’s not to late to start. Jonah’s Druthers is set in the old wild west. It’s a little twist on the story of Jonah and the “well.” Kids will be reminded of the gospel truth that our God is the only One who saves…not because we deserve it but because of His mercy. There’s LOTS of fun to be had as we prepare. …you don’t want to miss out!

We’ve started the Hope For New Hope WAM Bucks program. When WAM kids arrive on time, work hard, participate, listen to the music CD and attend each week they are earning WAM Bucks….these bucks can be traded at the end of the semester to buy books and supplies for New Hope slum school in Kolkata, India .

FAQ about WAM

What time does WAM begin?

WAM starts at 6 PM and ends at 7 PM on Wednesday nights

Where will my child go after WAM?

As per Kingsland Children's Ministry security policy, we cannot release any child from 5th grade or younger, without a parent, responsible adult or older teen.
At 7 PM we will escort all children who are not picked up to missions hour.
  • 1st - 5th Grade Boys to Boys of Iron
  • 1st - 5th Grade Girls to God's Girls
  • 4 year olds (by 09/01/11) - Kindergarten to TeamKid
  • 3 year olds will have childcare come into their WAM room (C140)
