CEC began in August 1987. This weekday preschool is governed by a church-appointed committee and administered by Gail Chester under the direction of our Children's Minister, Vicki Hoyle. Our experienced Christian staff is dedicated to providing children 15 months to Five's Transition with a creative approach to learning through the ABEKA Curriculum.
The purpose of our Preschool is to provide each child the opportunity of a Christian environment during their early childhood years and to help the preschooler discover a sense of personal identity and self-worth through development in the spiritual, physical, social, emotional and intellectual areas. The Child Enrichment Center Program will follow the Katy Independent School District calendar in regard to days off, early dismissal days and bad weather days.
CEC offers 15-month and two-year-old programs that are 1, 2 or 3 days a week; a three & four year old program that are 2, 3 or 5 days a week. The curriculum consists of Bible, art, math, music,
language art, physical development, science and social studies.
