KBC Pastoral Staff
Senior Pastor, Alex Kennedy Alex transitioned into his role as Senior Pastor in March of 2003 after serving as Associate Pastor for Marriage and Family. He began his relationship with Christ after a fellow high school student named John cared enough to build a friendship with him. Alex was then discipled through his involvement with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the University of North Carolina where he ran track and majored in Physical Education. After graduation, he received his Masters in Biblical Studies from Regent University in Virginia. Alex's favorite "hat" to wear is that of husband and daddy. He's been married to Christy for twenty years and their three children are Joy, Zach and Anna Grace. They are all convinced that God's favorite color is Carolina Blue...just look up on a sunny day. | Executive Pastor, Doyle Lowry
