One of Susan’s favorite verses is Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.” Susan knows personally and professionally that healing and freedom are found in Christ alone. She uses God’s Word, prayer and biblical principles to counsel and teach others how to experience healing and freedom in Christ. Susan and her husband, Terry, met and married at Kingsland in 1990 and have a son, Caleb, and daughter, Jessica. Susan has an Undergraduate Degree in Education from University of Texas at Tyler and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Prairie View A & M University. She completed the additional education and training required for licensure and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas.
